Android Nougat is the latest version of Android, after Marshmallow. Nougat provides a lot of major things or improvements over Android Marshmallow. Nougat is used to improving features, extending functionality and also expanding possible things.
There are some new features that are redesigned and extend the functionality of our android phone and that is so much interesting and useful for us. Here we discuss about some extending features of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Split screen Mode : Nougat now deliver us a Split screen mode. Split screen mode is work in both landscape or portrait mode. Split screen mode can be activated by long - pressing an app. It’s a very interesting feature in Android, then we work as a multitasking system.
Quick Switching : Quick switching is basically a shuffling between two recently used apps. When we swipe downward from the top then we show up some of the the applications like Wifi, Bluetooth, Mobile data, Airplane mode etc. or the apps the hidden in the second menu window. So, this problem is solved by Nougat by launching quick switching features. So, we can show all menus in a single window at a time.
Direct reply without leaving an app : In this feature of Android N, Notifications are more organized, interactive and detailed. We are replying to messages inline and take action on other notifications. We are taking actions on app that i have been using all day and it include archiving, snoozing and dismissing with a quick tap on the notification.
Doze mode : Always we hear about battery saving problem, when mobile phone is stationary. So, Doze mode released with Marshmallow, and now it step up energy saving software techniques. So, it expand the limit of battery saving.
Nougat is finally been released as a public, but it can handled by Google’s Nexus branded devices only.
